Message: Your files could not be uploaded Print

If you’re seeing this message: Your files could not be uploaded, one possibility is that your network traffic is being sent via a proxy server. To work around this problem, we recommend you configure Media Shuttle to use a different port for HTTP transfers.

(Note: you may need to ask the person who installed Media Shuttle Standard server to do this for you.)
  1. On the Media Shuttle server, open the C:\Program Files\Signiant Media Shuttle\bin\agent\bin\dds.cfg file in a text editor.

  2. Set the Protocol server for HTTP uses port line to 80 (or another available port) and save the file.

  3. From the Start menu, choose Control Panel->Windows Firewall->Advanced Settings->Inbound Rules and double-click Signiant Media Shuttle Transport.

  4. Click the Protocols and Ports tab and add 80 to the Local Port list. Click OK.
