How to add a storage server Print

To add a storage server, you need to log in to Configuration Console, select Storage and do the following:
  1. Click Add and select I agree to the terms of the license agreement.
  2. Click the Windows or Linux logo to download and install a Storage Server.
  3. Save the file and then Run the file. (By default the file is saved to your Downloads folder.)
  4. Follow the Media Shuttle Storage Server Installer prompts. A new browser tab opens in which you can complete the storage server installation.
  5. Copy the Storage Server Registration Key that is displayed in the management console and paste it into the Enter Registration Key field on the new tab that has opened after running the installer.
  6. Click Register Storage Server.
  7. The new storage server is displayed in the Storage Server list in the management console.
Remember, you shouldn't install multiple Storage Servers on the same computer.
