MediaShuttle Session Expired (loop) Print


Problem

User installs the Media Shuttle plugin to access a portal. The installation completes successfully, however a popup appears stating that the session has expired. Clearing the cache, resetting the browsers does not have a positive impact.

When launching the browser with debug enabled, the following line appears with a negative time value :

Next scheduled session refresh will be: -50 minutes from now.

followed by :

A REST request was forbidden. We have to assume that the session is lost.

Cause

The direct cause for this is the system time is not configured properly (TimeZone, Daylight saving, hours and minutes will all contribute to this issue if not set properly.

Resolution

Ensure the system time is accurate.
